Within minutes of being here I had realized this is a place for me. Motorsports at its best, and Iβm just here to visit the California RV Show.
Activities and facilities at this racetrack are specific to the auto racing enthusiast. From high performance carting and radio-controlled (RC) circuit racing tracks and activities, to street car and high performance vehicle drags, NASCAR, Indy-style and open-wheel events; this place seems to have it all.
I originally thought that this was built sometime ago after the previous Ontario Motor Speedway and Riverside International Racewayβs weβre torn down. I have been to races at both of those former racetracks when I was in my youth and having a Grandfather that was also a gear-head. Another missed track of my youth was Lionβs Dragstrip in Long Beach, CA. I had asked several people here while visiting the RV Show as to the origin, of in fact it was a new racetrack, or the former California Jam location of the Ontario Motor Speedway. The only one that knew the difference was my wife who first saw Ted Nugent in Ontario. Ha, we stumped βem all. Some people just arenβt really from the Southern California area as they pretend.

When approaching the racetrack and driving around it to find parking I had realized this confirms my initial thoughts of this being a 2-mile oval and one of the largest tracks in the nation . . . and, Iβve never been here before, nor am I nearly even close to being a race fan. I have only been to only one NASCAR race; that one was in Phoenix, AZ, a small track in comparison.
It was in Phoenix I had realized that NASCAR is a great place to watch people . . . some with teeth, and some without. NASCAR is also a great place to see multiple gorgeously hot women; again, some with teeth, and some without. ππΌ
I hope to visit here again when I can watch some racing. Iβve already made plans to meet up with my mechanic at a time when he comes for a racing event here in Fontana. I want feel the thunder.
