Sticking around just long enough to listen to a couple of tunes coming from the live music on the patio, I had a chance to sip a beer and talk briefly with one the owners.
I have written about this place upon their soft opening and again throughout their stint as The Flying Pig Pub and Kitchen, as owners Roddy and Aaron along with Chef Mario brought to Vista its beginning into this area’s upwardly-scaled downtown nightlife (search for Flying Pig in my reviews).
Soon after re-engineering an old bank into a gastro-pub at the beginning of Vista’s transformation into the current eclectic nightlife hot-spot that it is, The Flying Pig Pub and Kitchen began its quest and has waited for the remainder of the city streets to complete their 4-plus year restoration promising the use of their Flying Pig Pub and Kitchen as an umbilical for the new city street scene. Always busy, always a palatable sensation, always the Flying Pig. The city streets are still not done, but the changes to the area haven’t gone unnoticed by the now Town Hall Public House.
Adapting to the clientele that now frequents the area, Town Hall has brought back Chef Mario to re-engineer the menu and help redirect the cuisine as the supporting staff still has the familiar faces we have come to rely on for exceptional service with their familiar motivation and service, but now in a fresh atmosphere. The menu has changed a bit, but many of the favorites are still on the menu and holding down the fort. When you visit, look for slightly lower menu prices but without any compromise on what has been their trademark of providing outstanding cuisine in an unparalleled climate for their customers. It truly was a pleasure to be here once again, and truly a pleasure to speak with the owners as this change has brought about an even better Town Hall Public House.
Come visit, sit for a while, enjoy some music and explore what Chef Mario Moser has to offer on his new menu. Say hi to Roddy, Aaron or Chef Mario as they are still there to meet, greet and provide to you a memorable dining experience.
Oh by the way, look for their next venture, Bantam’s Roost in Bressie Ranch. 👍🏼 Again, sure to be great!
